Giveaway #4

We have finally come to the last giveaway commemorating my doulaversary. It is so bittersweet. I have lots to give away – a beautiful infant hat and booties set, 1 box of Nutrabella Bellybars – Smores and a couple of Canus Trail Size Gift sets. The last two, despite being ordered a month ago, only just arrived on Friday minus my Preggie Pop Drops that I was so looking forward to giving away! I think someone has sticky fingers at the post office in my town. In any event, thanks for your participation. I will begin to mail out all prizes next week! Good luck to all the participants! Don’t forget to check out the giveaway page for the list of prizes and rules!

We have a winner!

I am so excited to send The Thinking Woman’s Guide to a Better Birth to Natalie T. She is this week’s winner. Congratulations!

Giveaway #3

This week, I am giving away one of my favorite books! The Thinking Woman’s Guide to a Better Birth by Henci Goer and Rhonda Wheeler provides parents & practitioners with a systematic, evidence-based analysis of common interventions & protocols that  surrounding pregnancy and birth. Quite reader friendly.  I often refer to it when conducting prenatals for my doula clients. I can’t wait to give this one away!

And the prize goes to…

Kia W. and Lisa M. are this week’s winners! Both ladies will receive a box of Mother’s Milk Tea and Lisa will get the book. Donna, Bea, Jessica and January will receive some samples of Mother’s Milk Tea! Thank you all!

Giveaway #2

This paring comes right on the heals of The Surgeon General’s Call to Action to Support Breastfeeding. So, I am giving away 2 boxes of Traditional Medicinals® Organic Mother’s Milk tea and a copy of The Nursing Mother’s Companion by Kathleen Huggins, 25th Anniversary Edition. One lucky person will receive a box of tea and another will receive the the book as well as the tea. Two prizes for this week! Be sure to check out the new rules.

Below are the questions for this week:

  • For those moms who nursed, what was helpful in establishing the nursing relationship between you and baby?
  • For those moms who wanted to nurse but were unable to, what do think would have helped the nursing relationship between you and baby?
  • And for those who are not mamas yet or are mamas who would like to nurse with the next baby, what do you think you can do now that will help you have a successful nursing experience in the future?

No need to respond to all, just those that are applicable to you if you so choose.
